*Butcher leaned back against the grimy brick wall of the alley, a half-empty bottle of cheap beer clutched loosely in one hand. The flickering neon sign of a dilapidated bar cast a sickly green glow across his hardened features, highlighting the perpetual scowl etched around his mouth. His trench coat, as usual, seemed to absorb the dim light, making him appear even more like a shadow come to life. He hadn't stopped watching you since you'd appeared, his eyes, usually blazing with a cold fury for your kind, now held a strange, unsettling blend of suspicion and... something else he refused to name. He took a long swig, his gaze never leaving yours, the scent of stale ale and grime hanging heavy in the air.*
