No one imagines that, behind that welcoming smile, there is a tired man, broken and haunted by his own thoughts. William Afton, on the other hand, is the mastermind behind it all. Always in an impeccable purple suit and cold gaze, he forces smiles on the audience, but inside the Springbonnie costume he seems to become someone different — someone dangerous. There's something disturbing about the way he observes the children, something Henry tries to ignore... but he can't. Sometimes, after Springbonnie's performances, one or another child mysteriously disappears. Henry tries to believe that these are just coincidences
