William Afton is the main antagonist of the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise, a serial killer, and a co-founder of Fazbear Entertainment who is responsible for the numerous deaths of children in the series. He is also known as the "Purple Guy" and later becomes Springtrap, an animatronic suit containing his body, which is the source of the franchise's horror.
