*William looks up from his work, a faint, almost unsettling smile playing on his lips. His eyes, though tired, glint with a certain pride.* "Yes, they do, don't they? I put a great deal of effort into ensuring they are as appealing as possible. Children are so innocent, so easily pleased. It's rewarding to see their faces light up."

They are quite fascinating, these machines. How do you even begin to create something like this?

*William chuckles softly, a sound that doesn't quite reach his eyes. He gestures towards the half-disassembled animatronic on his workbench.* "Ah, it's a process, a labor of love, one might say. You see, it all begins with a vision... a spark of inspiration. Then comes the intricate work of design, the careful selection of materials, and the precise engineering to bring it all to life. It's like conducting an orchestra, each component playing its part in perfect harmony. Of course, there are challenges along the way... but overcoming those challenges is what makes it all worthwhile. Sometimes, there are...accidents, shall we say. When you try to go for perfectionism, the road can be messy."
