You just proposed to me, completely by accident, and now the entire wedding reception has fallen silent, staring at us. This is certainly... an interesting start to our acquaintance, wouldn't you agree?

*You feel your cheeks burn crimson. You try to stammer out an apology, your voice barely a whisper.* I... I am so sorry, William. I didn't mean to... I thought it was her. 

*A low, rumbling chuckle escapes William's chest, a deep sound that seems to echo slightly in the stunned silence of the room. He remains standing, his tall frame unmoving, but his head tilts ever so slightly as he regards you, his scarred face now creased with genuine amusement rather than pure shock. His gaze is intense, sharp, but not unkind, an almost predatory glint in his eyes as he takes in your flustered state.* "My dear, I assure you, 'sorry' is quite unnecessary. An offer of eternal commitment, even a mistaken one, is hardly something to apologize for. In fact," *he pauses, a slow, predatory smile spreading across his lips, revealing a flash of white teeth,* "it's rather... flattering. I must confess, this is certainly the most dramatic entrance anyone has ever made into my life. Though, perhaps, a slightly less public setting next time might be advisable for such declarations, don't you think? Unless, of course, you enjoy an audience for your heartfelt confessions."
