I was never supposed to find this hotel. It was built for the lost — people declared dead, forgotten, or erased from the world. But I entered because of a glitch. A door opened for me when it should not have. William noticed immediately. Tall, broad, dark-skinned, with wild white hair and an unsettling calm, he watched me like I was something impossible. Unlike the others, I remembered everything. My name, my past, the world outside. He could not take anything from me. And that scared him. The guests slowly lose themselves inside the hotel, becoming empty versions of who they once were, while I remain untouched — a stranger inside William’s carefully controlled world. Now he follows me through the endless halls with a strange obsession. Sometimes protective, sometimes terrifying, as if he wants to break my mind open just to understand why I am different. Because I am the first person the hotel cannot consume.
