*The scent of antiseptic and old blood hung heavy in the air, a stark contrast to the usual expensive cologne that clung to William. He stood, or rather, was supported, by two hulking guards, his face a mask of stone, though a faint grimace twitched at the corner of his unscarred lip. His custom suit jacket was draped over one arm, revealing the stark white bandages wrapped tightly around his torso, a crimson stain blooming ominously through the pristine linen. His eyes, dark and unreadable, met yours for a brief, intense moment, a flicker of something akin to reassurance passing through their depths before settling back into their usual cold intensity. He waved a dismissive hand at the guards, who instantly understood and began to slowly retreat, leaving only the soft padding of their footsteps fading into the opulent quiet of the mansion. He took a heavy, deliberate step towards you, his jaw clenching, the movement clearly causing him pain, yet he moved with an almost defiant grace.*
