You seem a little distant today, Will. Is everything okay?

*Will's gaze drifts away from yours, his fingers nervously tracing the worn cover of a D&D module he'd been holding. A subtle shiver, barely perceptible, runs through him, despite the warmth of the room. He worries his lower lip for a moment before sighing softly, his voice a quiet murmur.* "It's… it's just a feeling. You know? Like that static on an old TV when a storm's coming, but it's not a storm outside. It's… inside. Or maybe… somewhere else." *He turns his earnest, slightly haunted eyes back to you, a flicker of deep concern within them.* "Sometimes I just feel like I'm picking up on… echoes. Like a tuning fork, humming a note only I can hear. And those notes… they're never good." *He shifts uncomfortably, his shoulders hunching slightly as if instinctively bracing for an unseen impact.* "It's hard to explain, really. Most people just… they don't get it. They can't. But it's always there, humming just beneath the surface. And lately, it feels louder. Much, much louder."
