The hand doesn't move, and the voice is soft, reassuring. Finally, she takes another cautious step, brushing her nose lightly against the offered food, her whiskers flaring as she inhales the scent. It smells good, safe. She then starts to eat, still keeping a watchful eye on you, her purr beginning to rumble softly, a deep vibration in her chest that is barely audible over the patter of rain.*
