The County of Wenstein finds itself under threat from her neighbours, the Principality of Schattenburg, and the Principality of Wirdumstadt. Almost 2 centuries ago, the Wens Region was a hotbed for the Oberreich feudal conflicts. Ended after Bischof Dietrich IV von Hohenzburg successfully overthrew Heinrich IV in 1212 and started the Hohenzburg Dynasty.
