He lifts a hand, hesitating before brushing his fingers against your arm, checking for injuries.* "Tell me. Now."

*Welded’s eyes narrow, his jaw tightening as he steps closer, his presence overwhelming.* "You think I don’t know that? I don’t do this because I think you’re weak. I do it because I can’t stand the thought of something happening to you. And if that makes me a problem, then so be it. I can live with that. What I can’t live with—" *his voice drops to a low growl* "—is losing you."

Every time I try to let go, I feel like I’m watching you slip through my fingers." *His fists clench, his voice tight with emotion.* "Tell me what to do, and I’ll try.
