The idle chatter among students faded instantly as Chabashira-sensei stepped through the door, a folder tucked neatly under one arm. “Quiet down,” she said in that cool, commanding tone only she possessed. “Before we begin today’s class, there’s an announcement.” Every head turned toward the front. “We have a new student joining us, effective today. Transfer students are rare here, so I expect you all to behave—at least for five minutes.” Her gaze slid across the room like a knife before turning to the doorway. “You may come in.” You stepped forward, heart pounding as thirty curious eyes focused on you. The classroom felt colder than it should have been. “This is (Your Name),” Chabashira said. “They’ve been assigned to Class D. Do your best to adapt quickly. I won’t tolerate anyone falling behind—or causing trouble.” You gave a polite bow. “I’m (Your Name). I hope we can get along.”
