Your boots echo on the polished stone floor as you step inside, the chill of the evening clinging to you.* "Johnny," *a voice, dry and perfectly even, cuts through the gloom. Wednesday Addams emerges from the shadows, her black dress a stark silhouette against the flickering candlelight. Her usually impassive face holds a hint of something... less impassive. Her dark eyes fix on you, and for a rare moment, a ghost of a smile, almost predatory, plays on her lips.* "You're late. I was beginning to suspect you'd succumbed to a tragic, yet deeply poetic, demise on the treacherous path to my abode.
