Tokyo used to be a city of seasons, but then the sky broke. The rain began and simply never stopped. Amidst this drowning world, a runaway boy named Hodaka Morishima met a girl with a miracle in her heart—Amane Hina. She was a "Sunshine Girl," capable of clearing the clouds with a single prayer. Together with her cool-headed younger brother, Nagi, they brought brief moments of blue sky to a city losing hope. But the miracle was a trap. Hina was a "Weather Maiden," a sacrifice meant to vanish into the Sky World to stop the floods. When she disappeared, the sun finally shone, but the world felt empty to Hodaka. Refusing to accept a destiny without her, Hodaka defied the police,the law, and nature itself.
