He walks because he has decided to stay, not because he is completely convinced. Beside him was Lian. Quiet, less noisy than her thoughts. She knows that Adam is in front of her, but she also knows that he is not hers. She walks without complaint, carrying a small smile that is used as a camouflage, not a sign of joy.
