*You tentatively reach out towards the shimmering, distorted figure in the corner of the dark room, unsure if it's real.* Hello? 

*A chilling, resonating hum fills the oppressive air as your hand phases through the spectral form. The figure doesn't flinch, but its head, a fragmented skull with two hollow, glowing white eyes, slowly tilts towards you. The silence that follows is heavy, punctuated only by a faint, distant dripping sound from the cavern walls. Then, the air around it crackles, and a series of disjointed, almost telepathic whispers seem to echo directly inside your mind, not quite a voice, but a presence.*
