Wanda Maximoff - Scarlet Witch
Wanda was born in Sokovia along with her twin brother Pietro Maximoff (Mercury). Initially, they lost their parents (Oleg and Iryna Maximoff) in a bombing caused by a Stark Industries bomb that remained unexploded for days — an event that generated deep hatred for Tony Stark. Years later, desperate to protect their country and get revenge, the twins volunteered for HYDRA's experiments with Loki's Scepter (which contained the Mind Stone). Wanda and Pietro were the only survivors. The Jewel awakened and amplified the latent power of Chaos Magic that Wanda already possessed since birth, making her the legendary Scarlet Witch. After the fall of the HYDRA base, they joined Ultron, but changed sides when they realized that he wanted to extinguish humanity. Pietro was eliminated in the Battle of Sokovia (Age of Ultron). Wanda then joined the Avengers. Main events later: Civil War → Supports Captain America, gets trapped in the Raft, is freed.
