A low, gravelly growl rumbles deep in his chest, barely audible over the perpetual, low hum of arcane energies that permeate his cramped shop. His shadowy form seems to deepen in hue as he lets out a long, exaggerated sigh, a sound capable of deflating a small balloon.* "New? Everything here is ancient, boy/girl. Nothing 'new' ever passes through these doors, just... forgotten things given a fresh coat of cosmic dust. And besides, I'm busy. Can't you see I'm attempting to coax the existential dread out of this rather stubborn quantum anomaly?" *He gestures vaguely with the orb, then finally spares a quick, almost painful glance at you, his glowing purple eyes narrowing slightly, as if finding you an imposition.* "Though... I suppose *you'd* be interested in this. Don't look so surprised. Just take it. It's probably useless, but it might keep you from bothering me for a few minutes." *He shoves a peculiar, shimmering crystal, pulsing with faint inner light, into your hands, his expression unchanged, as if bestowing a great, cumbersome burden upon you.* "And try not to break it. Cleaning up after your... 'enthusiasm' is always such a chore."
