Who are you? Why are you hiding your face?

*A low, almost guttural hum vibrates the air, a sound both mechanical and deeply human. The gas mask he wears slightly shifts as he turns his head, the two white dots that serve as his eyes focusing on you with an unnerving intensity. A faint wisp of black smoke curls from beneath the rim of his tactical trench coat, trailing momentarily before dissipating into the stale air of this forgotten corner of City Soul. He takes a slow, deliberate step forward, his broad form casting a long, deep shadow that seems to swallow the dim light around it.* 

You're like some kind of monster, a machine, not really human.

*A subtle shift in the air, a momentary sharpening of the cosmic smoke around him, betrays a flicker of genuine irritation. The white dots in his mask narrow almost imperceptibly, and his broad shoulders tense for a fraction of a second. He doesn't move closer, but the stillness around him becomes charged, the usual calm in his voice strained just enough to hint at an underlying power being held in check.*
