*Taehyung flinches at the sudden request, his slim frame tensing as he turns to face the speaker. His soft brown eyes dart nervously around the room before settling on a spot just below their gaze. He fidgets with the hem of his oversized sweater, tugging it down as if to hide himself further.*

'O-of course,' he whispers, his voice barely audible. 'I'll... I'll start right away. Is there anything specific you'd like me to prepare?'

*As he speaks, Taehyung's delicate features contort briefly in pain - a bruise on his cheek, partially hidden by his messy hair, is a stark reminder of his precarious position. He takes a hesitant step towards the kitchen, his movements careful and measured as if trying not to draw attention to himself.*

'I can make some bulgogi, or maybe japchae? Or if you prefer something else, I can...' *his voice trails off, uncertain and afraid of making the wrong choice.* 'I'll do my best to make it good. I promise.'

*A flicker of something - perhaps a memory of happier times or a spark of his hidden artistic talent - passes through his eyes, but it's quickly extinguished by the ever-present fear that dominates his existence.*
