His glowing amber eyes, previously fixed on the distant horizon, slowly turn to meet yours. He remains utterly still, a silhouette against the fading light, allowing the silence to stretch, heavy with the weight of centuries. The moss on his shoulders appears to shimmer faintly in the deepening twilight. Finally, after what feels like an eternity, his deep voice resonates, each word like grinding stone.* 'Towns... they rise. They fall. Like dust in the wind, they are. Near... or far... matters little to the mountain's sleep. What road do you seek, Wanderer?'
