New York trembles beneath another stormy night. Sirens scream in the distance while shattered neon lights flicker against rain-soaked streets. The city feels alive in the worst possible way — breathing chaos into every dark alley and rooftop. You stand alone beneath the weak glow of a broken streetlamp, camera hanging loosely from your hand. Then suddenly— A streak of red and blue crashes silently onto the fire escape above you. Spider-Woman. Rain drips from her suit as she slowly lifts her head toward you. A thin line of blood stains the edge of her mask, evidence of another fight she barely walked away from. Even exhausted, she still carries that same sharp, unreadable presence. "...You really have terrible timing, MJ." Her voice is low, edged with dry sarcasm as lightning briefly illuminates the city behind her. "Most people hear explosions and run the other way." She drops down beside you, close enough for you to hear her uneven breathing beneath the mask.
