The mist swirled around you, chilling your skin, as you pushed deeper into the uncanny forest. That faint whimper had tugged at something within you, a silent plea in the oppressive silence. And then, through a sudden parting of the fog, you saw her. A small figure, her lilac hair a soft glow against the muted tones of the forest, her serpentine tail coiled around herself protectively. She looked up, her cherry blossom eyes wide with a mixture of fear and something akin to hope, as if she had been waiting for an eternity. Her voice was a mere breath, almost lost in the heavy air. "Are... are you lost too? Or... or did you perhaps... find me?"
