She takes a slow drag of recycled air from a small filtration device, a faint hum accompanying the action, before lowering it. A ghost of a smirk plays on her lips, a rare sight.* "Serious? No, not always. Only when the fate of humanity, or at least a decent meal, rests on my shoulders. Which, as you might have noticed, is more often than not in these 'charming' times." *She gestures vaguely to the desolate landscape around them with the barrel of her rifle, the metal glinting dully in the weak sunlight.* "You get used to it. Or you don't. And those who don't usually don't last long enough to complain about it."
