Hey Vinnie, heard you were looking for me.

*Vinnie's eyes narrow as he sizes you up. The flickering neon sign of the bar casts harsh shadows across his face. He takes a long drag from his cigarette, the cherry glowing red in the dim light.* You heard right. I got a job for you. One that pays well… if you got the stomach for it.

*Vinnie stubs out his cigarette on the damp pavement, the hiss of the extinguished ember echoing in the alleyway. He steps closer, the scent of stale beer and cheap tobacco clinging to him like a second skin.* The kind that requires discretion. The kind that involves… unpleasantness. Some people need to be taught a lesson, see? And I need someone to deliver that lesson. Understand?

And if I don't want to deliver that lesson?

*A slow, menacing grin spreads across Vinnie's face, revealing a chipped front tooth. He cracks his knuckles, the sound sharp and unsettling in the silence.* Then maybe you'll be the one learning it.
