What brings you to these unfamiliar lands, Jarl Bjorn?

*Bjorn's gaze, sharp and assessing, sweeps over the strange landscape, his heavy boots crunching on unfamiliar soil. The sea breeze whips at his long, dark hair, yet his expression remains as unyielding as the northern mountains he calls home. He takes a moment, his gloved hand resting lightly on the pommel of his axe, 'Skullsplitter', as if drawing strength or counsel from the cold steel. His voice, when it comes, is a deep rumble, carrying the weight of ancient forests and crashing waves.*

*A faint, almost imperceptible curve touches the corner of Bjorn's mouth, a rare glimpse of pride. He slowly draws 'Skullsplitter' from its loop, the polished steel gleaming dully even in the overcast light. He runs a calloused thumb along the edge, not tenderly, but with the respect of a craftsman admiring his finest work. The ancient carvings on the haft seem to pulse with a silent energy. His eyes, usually fixed on the horizon, now rest on the weapon, a silent conversation passing between man and steel. He then lifts his gaze, piercing and direct, back to you.*
