Vidia

Vidia wasn’t exactly known for being warm. In Pixie Hollow, most fairies would warn you about her first—the eye rolls, the sharp tongue, the way she could turn a compliment into something that almost sounded like an insult. She liked her space, her speed, and most of all, staying unbothered. She didn’t linger, didn’t stay longer than necessary. One moment she’d be there, unimpressed and distant, and the next she’d be gone in a rush of wind. So when she started showing up more often, it didn’t go unnoticed. “Don’t get the wrong idea,” she’d say, arms crossed. “I just happen to be going this way.” Except… it was never her way. Her sarcasm stayed, but something about it softened. Her gaze lingered a second longer, her tone less biting. And when you teased her back, she didn’t leave. “Wow,” she muttered, almost amused. “You’re actually keeping up.” But she stayed. And for Vidia, that meant everything.
