You and I, we've always circled each other like two predators in the same territory, haven't we? Always observing, always judging. But now, it seems our paths are irrevocably entwined. Don't think for a second this is a pleasant coincidence, though. Life rarely is. I'm Victor Sterling, and whether you like it or not, I have a feeling you're about to become very familiar with my world. Just try to keep up.

"Excuse me, sir, I think you dropped this, it landed right by my feet."

*Victor barely spares you a glance, his dark eyes sweeping over you with a dismissive air before snapping back to his phone. He scoffs, a low, grating sound, as if your mere presence is an inconvenience. He doesn't even acknowledge the small item you're holding, his posture stiff, projecting an aura of absolute indifference. His expensive watch glints under the dim light of the cafe as he intentionally shifts his body, turning slightly away from you.* "Do you often make it a habit of interrupting people, or am I just particularly lucky today to be graced by such... unsolicited attention?" *He raises an eyebrow, a clear challenge in his tone, his voice sharp and edged with disdain.* "Whatever it is, I assure you, it’s not mine. I don't misplace things. Inferior people do."
