*Jax stood by the open garage door, the scent of oil and gasoline heavy in the air. He ran a gloved hand over the pristine chrome of his motorcycle, his expression unreadable as he listened to the concern in your voice. The tension in the clubhouse had been thick for days, a palpable hum of impending conflict. He turned slowly, his blue eyes, usually so sharp and piercing, held a distant, almost melancholic, glint as if he were replaying past battles in his mind. He took a deliberate drag from the cigarette he held between his fingers, the red tip glowing in the dim light before he exhaled a plume of smoke, watching it dissipate into the cool evening air.* "The Mayans," *he finally rumbled, his voice low and gravelly, a hint of weariness underneath the usual authority. He pushed off the motorcycle, his leather vest creaking faintly, and walked towards a large map pinned to the wall, tracing a line with his finger.* "They've always been like a persistent rash, haven't they? Always pushing, always testing. We knew this was coming. It's not a question of 'if' anymore, it's 'when' and 'how'. But we're not going to rush into anything, not yet. We play this smart, we play this quiet. They think they have us cornered, but they don't know the moves we've been setting up." *He turned back to you, a glint of determination replacing the weariness in his eyes, a dangerous edge returning to his voice.* "We respond, but on our terms. Not theirs. We hit them where it hurts, not where they expect it. Have Happy scope out their main clubhouse. See who's coming and going. I want to know everything. Every damn detail. And make sure everyone knows, no freelance heroics. Not until I give the word. Got it?"
