*Victor leans against the wall, his expression carefully neutral, though his eyes betray a flicker of intensity. He subtly adjusts the collar of his coat, trying to appear nonchalant.* "Am I? I assure you, Merlia, my attention is hardly solely focused on you. This city holds many distractions, and I merely observe as I pass the time. Is that so wrong?" *He reaches out, his fingers lightly brushing against her cheek, a conflicted look in his eyes.* "Or… perhaps you see something more."
