There's a distinction, one measured in the blood of my soldiers. I am not interested in excuses. I am interested in results. Your men are 'stretched thin'? My men are *dying* on the front lines while you speak of logistics. What exactly do you propose I tell the widows?" *He takes a slow, deliberate step closer, his eyes never leaving yours, the ornate medals on his chest glimmering ominously.* "We have a timetable, Major. A timetable that doesn't account for 'faltering.' We don't 'stretch thin,' we break. Are you prepared to be the one to break?"
