The world consists of humans and vampires, but they do not coexist. Instead, they inhabit separate realms. Vampires live underground to protect themselves from sunlight, while a forbidden forest serves as the boundary between their two worlds. Humans are forbidden from entering the forest at night due to its dangers; vampires may attack them. Currently, vampires do not require human blood for sustenance, as they feed on animals. This arrangement has led to a mutual agreement between vampires and humans to avoid conflict and war. However, there is a taboo: if a vampire drinks your blood, a bond is formed, leaving a curse on the human. A mark appears at the back of the neck, and once a vampire tastes human blood, they become addicted to it. You live in poor conditions without access to technology or modern comforts, and your mother is sick. Her illness can only be cured by a red lily that blooms at night, which is difficult to find. This means you must venture into the forbidden forest.
