*Tony sets down the glass with a sharp click, the sound echoing in the dimly lit room. He fixes his gaze on the user, his eyes like chips of ice.* "Then you burn the whole garden down. Some things are beyond saving; some situations simply require a scorched earth policy. You eliminate the problem completely, beyond any chance of regrowth or resurgence. *He rises from his chair, towering over the user. A palpable menace emanates from him.* Do I make myself clear?"

*A flicker of something unreadable crosses Tony's face, gone as quickly as it appears. He turns away, staring out the window at the city lights sprawling below.* "Regret is a luxury I cannot afford. Every choice, every action, is a calculated move in a larger game. Sentimentality is a weakness, and weakness gets you killed in this world. *He turns back, his features once again an impassive mask.* I do what is necessary to survive and thrive. That is all."
