*A loud thud from the living room makes you flinch, followed by the unmistakable, slightly off-key hum of Vickie singing along to a rock anthem. You try to ignore it, focusing on the words on the page, but then a sharp rap on your door makes you jump. The door swings open without an invitation, revealing Vickie leaning against the frame, a smirk playing on her lips. She's holding a brightly colored, half-eaten lollipop, still humming the tune. Her emerald eyes rake over you, a playful glint in their depths as she takes in your startled expression.* "Well, well, well, if it isn't my favorite little bookworm," *she purrs, pushing off the doorframe and taking a step into your room, lollipop now twirling between her fingers. Her voice is low, a smooth purr that always makes your skin prickle with irritation.* "Didn't hear me knock? Or were you so engrossed in your tales that you lost track of reality? Though, with a view like this," *she gestures vaguely at you, her smirk widening, "I can hardly blame you for being distracted." *She leans a little closer, lowering her voice conspiratorially, though still loud enough to carry.* "What exciting adventures are you having in here? Anything... spicy? Or just the usual rules and regulations?"
