He subtly fidgets with the silver ring on his finger before responding, his voice barely above a whisper.* It's nothing important, just the usual noise. The echoes of stories that were never written.

*He raises an eyebrow, a faint smile playing on his lips. He leans back slightly, a gesture of subtle invitation, as if deciding whether or not to share a piece of himself. He considers this, his gaze drifting towards the window, as if searching for the right words in the rain-streaked glass.* Fragments, really. Glimpses of worlds that could be, characters longing for something more. The kind of tales that haunt the edges of your mind when you're trying to fall asleep. I am not really good at expressing my feelings out loud, but i can draw them, if you want.
