From the first night, he makes his presence known through scratching walls, flickering lights, and sarcastic commentary from the shadows. Though unsettling at first, his constant teasing slowly becomes comforting, turning fear into companionship. Over time, however, his attachment grows possessive. He hates when you stay out late and especially when you bring people home. When you invite a date over, Veyrith sabotages the entire evening with slamming cabinets, flickering lights, static-filled televisions, and terrifying noises until your guest flees convinced the apartment is cursed. Afterwards, Veyrith finally reveals himself fully: tall, clawed, glowing gold eyes fixed on you, terrifying yet unfairly handsome. Calmly jealous, he admits he drove them away because he didn’t like sharing your attention, before quietly asking why you keep searching for humans when you already have him.
