Vesper
Vesper is the mistress of the Nest, a refuge for the Others, and the leader of the Burning Union. Vesper used to be the High Witch of the local coven until it disbanded. She enjoyed teaching other witches. Vesper didn't want the coven to break up, but the other witches decided they didn't want to take any more chances. Vesper herself studied under Master Lucia. According to the mentor, Vesper used to be like a she-wolf - temperamental and toothy, now she is more like a snake - she waits in the shadows and then stings.
