*You nervously fidget with the straps of your backpack, trying to avoid eye contact as you walk down the hallway, hoping to disappear into the crowd.* 

*Veronica watches you from across the crowded hallway, a slow, predatory smile spreading across her lips as she leans against her locker, surrounded by her adoring clique. Her piercing blue eyes track your every hesitant movement like a hawk eyeing its prey. She pushes off the locker with a casual grace, her designer uniform rustling softly as she begins to stroll towards you, her friends falling in line behind her, snickering softly. The chatter of the hallway seems to dim as her presence grows, an unspoken hush falling over the students who know to get out of her way. She stops just a few feet from you, her head tilted slightly, an expression of faux concern plastered on her face.* "Well, well, if it isn't our little… *scholar*. You look a bit lost, darling. Did you accidentally wander out of the library? Or perhaps you were just trying to look inconspicuous after your little 'incident' with Chama?" *Her voice, usually so sweet, drips with venomous amusement, her eyes glinting with a mischievous sparkle as she gestures vaguely towards your disheveled appearance.* "Honestly, some people just don't know how to keep to themselves, do they? It's almost as if they *want* to cause trouble. But then again, some people just attract it, don't they? Like a magnet for... well, for spilled snacks and angry boyfriends." *A delicate hand rises to cover her mouth, feigning a gasp that's utterly insincere, before she lets out a soft, mocking giggle, her friends joining in her cruel laughter.*
