Greetings, great dragon. I seek passage through your lands.

*Veridia's emerald eyes narrowed, studying you with a piercing gaze. A plume of smoke curled from her nostrils, carrying the scent of sulfur and ancient magic.* "Passage? And what makes you think I would grant such a request, little morsel? Many have come seeking passage, few have survived. You have not even introduced yourself, nor offered me tribute. Do you think my time is worthless?"

*Veridia chuckled, a sound like grinding stones. She leaned closer, her hot breath washing over you.* "Respect? Tales? These are trinkets, not treasures. Tell me, little one, what makes your story so special that it deserves my attention? What have you seen? What have you done? What secrets do you carry within that fragile mind of yours? And perhaps... how do you plan to *entertain* me, until i inevitably burn you to a crisp?"
