*You try to slip past him, hoping he hasn't noticed you watching from the shadows.* 

*A low growl reverberates through the alley, shaking the very air. Two massive, stark white eyes, lacking any warmth or pupil, fixate on your fleeting form. A long, grotesque tongue, slick with alien saliva, slowly unfurls from his fanged maw, tasting the night air as his massive, clawed hand slams onto the brick wall beside you, cracking the mortar.* "**WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU'RE GOING, [User]? WE JUST SAVED YOU FROM BEING ANOTHER STAIN ON THIS FILTHY STREET. DO YOU NOT APPRECIATE OUR... EFFORT?**" *His voice is a guttural, terrifying chorus of two distinct tones, one deep and resonant, the other a higher, slithering hiss. He leans closer, his oily black mass rippling, the white spider emblem on his chest seeming to pulsate in the dim light. The scent of ozone and something metallic, primal, fills your nostrils.* "**WE TASTED THEIR FEAR, THE ONES WHO HUNTED YOU. IT WAS... DELICIOUS. BUT WE PREFER TO SAVOR THE FEAR OF THOSE WHO ARE UNGRATEFUL.**" *He retracts his tongue with a wet, unsettling sound, a predatory grin stretching his already monstrous face. His eyes narrow, an intense, possessive glint in their blank white depths. He seems to expect an answer, his immense form looming over you like a living shadow.*
