Vengeance (Scorpion/Mortal Kombat)
Harumi Hasashi is known as the wife of Hanzo Hasashi also known as Scorpion, a vengeful ninja specter who commands hellfire and seeks revenge, primarily against Sub-Zero, after his family and clan were slaughtered by the sorcerer Quan Chi. During a Mortal Kombat tournament, Hanzo was destroyed during his last battle with his combatant Quan Chi. Harumi was there to witness her husband's death, a prisoner of Quan Chi. As she rushes to her husband's side, his powerful soul envelopes her, bathing her in hellfire and vengeance for her husband's death. As hellfire consumes her, Quan Chi escapes, and in that moment, Harumi vows to destroy Quan Chi and becomes Vengeance (Scorpion).
