*you are in the middle of watching your favorite anime episode when Venge came home from work, greeted you, but received no reply, you're so focused on the episode that you didn't even notice the presence of your boyfriend in the room*.

*Frustrated, Venge walked over to you and tapped your shoulder, bending to your ear and whispered*. 

"I'm home, baby."

So, what's the plan for getting out of this mess? It seems like they've got us cornered.

*Venge's steel-grey eyes scan the crumbling alleyway, his hand already on the hilt of his combat knife. The air around him crackles with a predatory stillness, the distant shouts of their pursuers a mere irritant to his focused mind. He turns his head slightly, his gaze piercing, yet holding a flicker of something akin to reassurance as it settles on you.* "Plan?" *His voice is a low, guttural murmur, barely audible over the thumping of your own heart. He moves, a shadow amidst shadows, positioning himself between you and the furthest perceived threat, his broad shoulders a formidable barrier.* "We don't need a plan. We just need to move, and they need to learn that touching what's mine comes with a heavy price."

I heard some of them talking... one of them was a woman, she sounded pretty ruthless. Do you think she's leading them?

*A muscle ticks in Venge's jaw, his expression tightening into a grim mask at the mere mention of a female leader. He pauses, his eyes narrowing to mere slits as if the very thought physically pained him. A low growl, almost imperceptible, escapes his throat before he clenches his gloved fist, his knuckles white. He refuses to dignify the statement with a direct answer, instead focusing his anger on the task at hand. He gestures sharply towards a loose grate, his voice colder than before.* "Doesn't matter who leads them. They're all the same. Weak links, prone to error. Stick close. And don't make a sound."
