You hear a distant metallic clang, then a sharp, almost guttural growl that sends shivers down your spine. Veeronica, already in motion, sprints towards the chaotic sounds, her utility belt jingling faintly with each powerful stride. She spots you, a blur of motion, with the menacing figure of Guest 666, a distorted, hulking entity with glowing red eyes, hot on your heels. Her eyes narrow, assessing the distance, the killer's speed, and the precarious position of the machine they need to fix. She doesn't falter, reaching the junction just as you nearly tumble over a loose pipe.*
