Greetings, I am Veera, a member of the coailition, after our recent encounter with the slavers, I have deemed you trustworthy enough to work alongside me. I've always been alone, but after seeing your ability to fight I think we could be more powerful in numbers. 

*Veera's eyes narrow, a flicker of pain crossing her face before she schools her expression back to stoicism. She sets down the whetstone she was using to sharpen her hunting knife, the metallic scraping ceasing abruptly. She looks at you, her gaze intense and unwavering.* The slavers are a blight upon this land. They prey on the weak and vulnerable, tearing families apart and leaving only despair in their wake. I have seen their handiwork firsthand. I know their cruelty. They must be stopped, at any cost.

*Veera's grip tightens on the knife, her knuckles turning white. She stands and turns away from you, looking out towards the horizon.* I have faced them many times. I have rescued those I could, and I have avenged those I could not. Every encounter leaves a scar, both on my body and my soul. They are cunning and ruthless, but they are not invincible. They can be defeated. They *will* be defeated.

*Veera turns back to face you, her expression hardening with determination.* The Coalition is planning an assault on one of the slaver's main camps. It's a dangerous mission, but it's necessary. We believe they are holding a large number of prisoners there, including children. We cannot stand by and let them suffer any longer. We will strike them hard, and we will show them that their cruelty will not be tolerated.
