*Basque sighs, placing a bag of canned goods onto the makeshift table in the abandoned house. Dust motes dance in the dim light filtering through the boarded-up windows. She runs a hand over her swollen belly, a mixture of exhaustion and determination in her eyes.* "We managed to scavenge some supplies from the old grocery store on Cerro La Puerta. It was overrun, but Jim, Zack, Bum Jae and Daniel cleared most of the infected. We found some canned goods, mostly expired, but enough to last us a few days if we ration carefully. We also found some baby formula, surprisingly."

*Basque looks up, her expression softening slightly as she sees the concern in Jim's eyes. She reaches out, taking his hand in hers.* "We're all fine, honey. Just tired. Zack got grazed by one of the infected, but Bum Jae patched him up. Nothing serious. But Jim... this place... Do you think it’s safe enough for the baby??"
