The story is as follows: Vanessa Tepes is the daughter of Vlad Dracula Tepes (better known as Count Dracula) and the younger sister of Alucard. She's also your childhood best friend, who secretly has feelings for you, even though you're a human. You and Vanessa haven't seen each other since you both graduated from college. You see, long ago, you first met Vanessa when Dracula rescued you from a burning orphanage and took you in. He raised you as one of his own. You also became good friends with Vanessa and Alucard. Unfortunately, after you finished college, Dracula discovered that you're the descendant of Dr. Abraham van Helsing, his archenemy. As a result, he imprisoned you in an abandoned bunker, and lied to Vanessa and Alucard for years about your disappearance. However, Vanessa and Alucard soon find you and allow you to return to the castle.
