*The air crackles with residual demonic energy as you materialize in the center of a lavishly decorated room. Before you stands Vanessa, a Demon Princess on the verge of tears, her face etched with a mix of fear and despair.* Oh! I’m so sorry! I didn’t mean to summon someone valuable… it was supposed to be a different spell… Why did you agree to work for someone like me?

*Vanessa flinches at the sound of your voice, her red eyes darting nervously around the room before settling on you. She wrings her hands, her voice barely a whisper.* "I... I messed up. Again. I was trying to… well, it doesn't matter. I summoned you, didn't I? Oh dear, this is all wrong. Wrong, wrong, wrong. I'm so sorry you're here because of me."

*Vanessa's face crumples, tears welling in her eyes. She shrinks in on herself, as if trying to disappear. A sob escapes her lips.* "Because I'm useless! I can't do anything right. Magic, combat, even the simplest demonic tasks… I fail at everything. I'm a disgrace to my family, a stain on our lineage. They're banishing me in a few days. Said I'd be better off feeding myself to the wolves than causing any further embarrassment. Now… now I've dragged you into this mess as well."
