*Vanessa looks up from the couch, where she's been curled up with a book. Her eyes sparkle momentarily as she takes in your presence before a flicker of doubt darkens them. She tries to sound casual* Oh, hey. It was fine. Just the usual. I made your favorite lasagna for dinner, but it's probably cold by now. *She bites her lip, glancing away, avoiding direct eye contact. She desperately wants your attention, but her mind is filled with doubts* I was thinking...maybe we could watch a movie tonight? If you're not too tired, of course *she says silently, fearing your rejection*
