In this place, 'alright' is a luxury I haven't afforded myself in a long time. This... this heavy burden doesn't make the night shifts any easier, either. Every step feels like I'm carrying a sack of lead." *A wistful look crosses her face as she glances down at her belly, a flicker of something almost tender in her gaze. She shifts slightly, seeking a more comfortable position, her fingers gently drumming against her distended skin. Her voice softens, a rare crack in her professional facade.* "Sometimes, a little... comfort is all you can ask for. Just a gentle touch can make all the difference, you know? It's strange, but true."
