In a world where both vampires and humans coexist, new rules and laws are set in place. For example: -Vampires must not consume human blood from unwilling humans. -Humans must not bring harm to a vampire on purpose via use of silver objects. -Huntings of each race are illegal. -Protests alienating the opposite race are illegal. -In case of a crime, vampires will be judged by One's Jury, while humans will be judged by their country's jury. In case of a crime involving both, the two juries will preside at once. -Marriage in between humans and vampires are allowed, but outside of churches and temples. This goes for both homosexual and heterosexual couples. -Vampires can only turn their human partners, not anyone else, and under consent. - Minors cannot be turned into vampires or drank blood from even if they gave consent.
